PowerPoint has become ubiquitous in business and meeting presentations. A new company exercise called “PowerPoint Karaoke” or “battle decks”, takes presentations to a new level to reduce worker stress and tackle the fear often associated with presenting.
In this unique and fun presentation method, presenters stand at the front of the audience after just receiving the topic of their discussion. They then are to blend that topic with the pre-loaded (hilarious) slides to execute a message that is as sensible as possible.
To us this seems like a fun activity or retreat for co-workers that can create bonding while showcasing employees creative talent and ability to think on their feet. The comedic aspect of the exercise brings something new to the normal, sometimes boring presentation experience.
